AariTari Embroidery, Wall Hanging 19th century Rajasthan , India
This one is truly special and one-of-kind! It is made from antique patches of dress fabrics mostly the odhani(a long scarf that drapes over the top and skirt) worn during the time of kings. This vintage wall art has intricate peacocks and flowers in golden and silver threads all over with a lot of sitara, dabka and aari taari embroidery from Rajasthan.
The back is plain black fabric. It is like a piece of royal heritage all over.
The product shown is handmade and unique.
I chose the items very cautiously. However, there will be some imperfections in the fabric, embroidery or weave, which only adds to the handcrafted flavor of the product. I tried to capture imperfections in the pictures. Please contact us for more information on the product.
